Growth of avation and its impacts are controlled, directly or indirectly, by government. In this section we highlight what is happening in Parliament.

Public attitudes, campaigns and lobbying affect the position of MPs and government on aviation. We therefore report on these as well. (For information on issues and campaigns at individual airports, see ‘Airports’ section.)
