In a development which has alarmed campaigning organisations, Tony Blair has signalled that he is shifting away from legally binding targets to cut greenhouse gas emissions.
Speaking at a meeting of international environment and energy ministers at the beginning of November, Tony Blair said that legally binding targets to cut greenhouse gas emissions made people “very nervous and very worried”.
People have been asked to write to their MPs, asking them to ask Tony Blair to publicly state his support for legally binding targets to cut greenhouse gases, both at home and internationally.
