Our focus in the last fortnight seems to have been on airspace issues. As well as giving oral evidence and some follow-up material to the Transport Select Committee, a new story on our website notes that NATS have gone back to the drawing board with their proposals for changes to ‘terminal control North’ – the airspace in the South East of England.
We’ve also been looking a bit more closely at third party risk and business jets, with our group member at Farnborough providing lots of interesting insight. And we’ve spent quite some time going through the Government’s forecasts for aviation emissions and uncovering some serious underestimates.
