‘Independent Aviation Connectivity Commission’ announced – call for evidence on airport capacity cancelled

12th September, 2012

The Government has announced the creation of an ‘Independent Aviation Connectivity Commission’. The call for evidence on airport capacity, which was due to be announced shortly, has been cancelled.

See Airport Watch article.

This follows on the heels of the removal of Justine Greening – who was vehemently opposed to Heathrow expansion – as Secretary of State for Transport (see previous story).
