Florence Long

Florence joined the AEF in 2021 to manage social media, press and administration. She previously worked as a freelance writer and teacher and has a keen interest in travel writing, greenwashing and decarbonisation technology.

She previously worked with the charity Teach First, helping pupils who have been negatively affected by the pandemic. While in this role, she realised the importance of making information accessible and engaging. 

Since joining, Florence has worked with a group of international NGOs for the  ‘Travel Smart’ campaign. Through this project, she used her design and editorial skills to create case studies and write opinion pieces for Business Green. She has also contributed to the AEF’s website, such as a series on greenwashing in the aviation industry.
