Celeste Hicks

Celeste joined in 2024 as Policy Manager. She has a strong background in campaigning and communications, having previously worked as a journalist at BBC World Service for 15 years and as a communications manager at Transport & Environment. She has had roles in the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), and is also the author of 3 books, including Expansion Rebellion (MUP 2022), which was about the legal case against Heathrow Expansion. She is also a volunteer campaigner on safe streets for children and clean air for Mums for Lungs and at her children’s school.
